Underwater Lounges, Go Karts, Submarines, has anyone here ever done really unique cruise things?

I wrote this article this week on extremely unique cruise experiences, and am wondering what you guys think!

Has anyone here ever done something on a cruise that is really rare for any other ship or cruise line? Or have you ever experienced one of the things I listed? I love finding unique things like these, especially Crystal's submarine rides which look amazing, and Ponant's upcoming Blue Eye lounges. Talk about an awesome experience!

This reminds me of the discussion I started a long while ago on aquariums on ships... I guess I love the idea of connecting to the sea while out at sea.

I did go to a couple of the glass shows (Corning) on the Solstice when she was in Alaska. The show was interesting, but the cold made it rather uncomfortable.

You should attend at least once - they are quite informative (and entertaining as well).

My husband and I rode camels on the beach on one of the excursions in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We had such a good time. They took pictures and videos, which we purchased, and I had one of the pictures enlarged and hanging in my bedroom of us standing with the camel, Lucy. It definitely was an unforgettable experience, and if anyone has the opportunity to go on the excursion on Norwegian, definitely do it. Very memorable!! :)

I drove a sketchy jeep, down even more sketchy roads in Costa Maya...

The glass shows were good. It did get a bit cool out in the evenings (outdoor seating for the glass show) on the transatlantic when we saw the shows on the Celebrity Equinox. It was fun because as a child when on family vacations in Laguna Beach CA we would watch the glass blower at The Pottery Shack (A landmark in Laguna Beach)..... Laguna was so much fun in the 60's and 70's when it was hippies, small shops and unknown artist, it is now Yuppies, trendy shops, gallery's and overpriced artist. A shame it had to grow up,
