Towels for excursions?

I'm going on my first cruise next week (yay!) and I've been lurking on the board soaking up as much info as possible, but I do have a question.

I've booked a snorkeling excursion through the cruise line (Norwegian).  It's in Nassau and we board a boat that takes us out to the reef.  Will we need to bring our own towels or will they be provided?

Are we allowed to take towels off the ship?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know about NCL, but Carnival supplies each room with a beach towel per person. They charge around $22 if you don't bring them back. Used towels left in the room will be replaced with fresh ones to take the next day.

Hope you enjoy your cruise and get hooked like the rest of us.

Here is a link to the NCL website, which states that you may take beach towels from the ship on excursions.

Enjoy your cruise and be sure to let us know how it goes Happy

Not sure about NCL, but Princess has unlimited beach towels all over by the pools and when debarking...honor system about returning.

Yes, your cruise line will supply you with towels but be sure to return them to the ship or you may be charged for them depending on the cruise line.
