Tournament Costs

do the costs of Blackjack, Slot, and Poker tournaments on ships ( versus the prizes ) keep you from entering them ?

Yes. I've done a couple slot tourneys. Hubby did poker and blackjack - one time each at $25 a pop. In terms of the slot play, it was one and done.  For that, the cost really seems excessive. Now, I'd rather sit at a slot machine and keep myself amused for an hour or more.

I don't play because of the costs but I have a friend who does and she wins a lot so it pays for her.

When I lived in Las Vegas I used to play a lot,  now I'm kind of over it so no tournaments for me anymore. When I was short on cash back in those days,   I would make reservations in the casino restaurant and go play Roulette to win enough for dinner and fill the gas tank.
