Too Much Mail Delivered Daily to Cabin

Do you feel like you are inundated with ads, notices, etc, in addition to the daily newsletter?  I get tired of too much mail because I feel a need to go through it so I don't miss something important...

Why?

Same reason I go through all the junk mail ...

Most of everything in my mail box is junk and ends up in the trash.

That's why it's so annoying on a ship ...and they always give it to us in duplicate when I travel with my son because we are not a "couple"....

Didn't Carnival stop bringing your expenses on paper to your cabin a couple of times during the cruise to save paper and to be environmental friendly?

I don't mind - in fact this last trip I was grousing mildly because it seemed they were cutting back a bit - it seemed I could never find the Princess Patter when I wanted it - 'course my wife just down loaded all that stuff on her phone...

Neither Carnival not Princess bring your S&S expenses in paper form frequently, but there are invitations to special events or free drinks for people like Debbie with Elite status and that can be fun.

We have started keep all the papers and sorting them out as we go, making a recycle pile and an important pile (much smaller),  At the end of the cruise we set all the recycle papers on top of the "desk" and if the room steward wants to toss them he/she can or whatever.

Sonds like a good thing for me to do but I'll leave a posted note for the steward to take them every day.  Unless I'm on the same cruise as Debbie and then I'll just put all my junk mail in her box.

Sounds like a good plan.Wink

I agree with there being too many, but what I consider a junk ad for a sale or promotion might be just the thing that someone else is looking for. I look through ours and then toss them in the garbage. It seems the Cruiseline isn't too considered with the environment cause they sure kill a lot of trees with the paper ads that get tossed out.
