Tips for Cruising While Pregnant

My husband and I got married back in April, and originally planned our honeymoon for December (when we both knew we'd be able to take 2.5 weeks off for a 15-day cruise to Hawaii).  Well... I ended up getting pregnant faster than expected, so we had to change honeymoon plans (I would've started my 24th week at the end of the cruise).  Instead of 15-day Hawaiian cruise in December, we're doing a 6-day Mexican Riviera cruise at the end of October.

If you've cruised while pregnant, what tips do you have for this new mama-to-be?

My DD was 23 weeks pregnant when we cruised last year. Be sure you know the cruiseline's policy on documentation. Carnival requires a letter from your doctor verifying your fitness to travel.

Also, be sure to get a prescription from the doctor for anti-nausea meds. Better safe than sorry. DD had no issues, but others have.

Have a great cruise and best wishes for a healthy, happy baby Happy

YES THE DOCUMENTATION!! You do not want to be turned away...

Thanks keywest1 & meghad23. Yep, I know about the documentation, and have it ready for the doc to fill out & sign Happy

My priority check-in was not good "any time" as it has been but only during my allocated time for my cabin deck check-in. Therefore, not really priority check-in.

Not sure why this is posting under pregnant but its answer to policy and procedures
