Perhaps you can explain it to me then.

Essentially everyone in the USA that wants a vaccine has one. Therefore, there is no event Is coming that will make us any safer than we are now. Why aren't we returning to our normal lives?

This is getting kinda annoying. I understand the need, though.

I am beginning to see that. Another set of frustrating hoops.Sad

The way I read it, this is not only about test cruises. I think Auntie that these rules will apply even if ALL the people on board (crew & passengers) have been vaccinated. That's what everyone is up in arms about.

C.L. News Said today-----

"If Florida won’t allow Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings to require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for passengers and crew, the company’s CEO says it will take its ships elsewhere.

CEO Frank Del Rio made the threat during an earnings call Thursday, just days after Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill passed by the Republican-controlled state Legislature that bans businesses, schools and government entities in Florida from asking anyone to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination . . .

. . . . In August, Norwegian Cruise Line plans to launch six-night cruises on its Norwegian Joy ship from Montego Bay, Jamaica, visiting its private beach in Belize; Roatán, Honduras; Cozumel, Mexico; and Ocho Rios, Jamaica; and six-night cruises on its Norwegian Gem ship from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, visiting Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Maarten and Antigua.

Cruises leaving from ports outside U.S. waters are not subject to its safety oversight . . . "

But, like Jen Lwth says.----"All they were asked to do was make plans for what they would do in the event of an outbreak and prove that they had the ability to carry out those plans by getting agreements in place with medical facilities for any necessary evacuations. If they’re saying it’s impossible to do that, they’re saying it’s impossible for them to resume cruising. They’ve also potentially shot themselves in the foot by leaning on politicians to ‘ban’ vaccine proof requirements while also claiming they will only allow 100% vaccinated guests on board. How is the CDC supposed to believe they will do that when they just paid off the Florida legislature to make sure that they can’t do it?"

I think its US that needs help........hehehehehheh

Maybe they'll start offering free room service again for the buffets! Happy

You didn't think this was going to be easy, did you? Sounds like the CDC is trying to make the test cruises extra difficukt, so that the cruise lines with have to go the "required" vaccine route.Surprised
