The other ship in dock with us.

Has anyone ever looked over and saw another cruise lines ship (even another ship from the cruise line your sailing with) at the same dock and had feelings of some sort? Like, "Oh that ship is beautiful" or " I know my cruise line is better the theirs". A bit of cruise line rivalry. All in good fun.

The best ship afloat is the one I'm on at the time  Big Smile

Going through the Panama Canal we had another ship right beside us. A lot of good natured ribbing back and forth with signs and such. The cruise directors from both ships were encouraging every one. Lot of fun.... At the end of the crossing they were behind us.....Big Smile

I always like to size up the competition... Typically my ship is bigger Wink

I hate to admit it, but I've got a little thing against Carnival. Wink When I see them at "my" dock, I think to myself---"Look at them" and "We've even got the best side of the dock". "Oh we are going first"....LOL I do really love you Carnies!

On the Carnival Magic, we docked next to the Carnival Sunshine. The Sunshine looked so interesting to me I ended up booking on it a few months later.

On the Carnival Sunshine, docked next to a Disney ship. Got mooned by Donald Duck.

DW mooned him back. Snow White was ROFL!Big Smile

Oh, no!

The only time was in Monte Carlo. A huge international boat show was just wrapping up when we were. I admit looking at a few of the mega-yachts with a tad bit of envy... but it passed once we left port for our next port of call.

HAHA!!! Our ship is bigger!!!

I know, that's what I would be thinking.Big Smile

Someone has ship envy ......................
