"The look"

Why at times do I get the look of surprised when a pesky passenger asks who I'm with and I say I'm solo this trip.  I know I'm extremely handsome but being single at the moment doesn't stop me for cruising.

For the same reason people raise their eyebrows when I say I'm traveling without my husband ... they have a predefined definition of what is "normal" ...

Todd I'm really happy you are over your inferiority complex - lol ...

My son is attractive and single and travels with his mother ... they have a field day with that too!  We could care less what people on a cruise ship think of us ...most of them think we are a "couple" and raise eyebrows on that too!  Then there's the women with daughters who want to fix him up ... NOT.

He told one woman that when he was married, his ex spent every dime he made and its only since his divorce that he can afford cruising - lol.

I think what Deb is trying to say is that you are both abnormal?Big Smile
