Did the Steward attended to the room and your needs at all? and was just not seen, or was he/she MIA all the way! Just asking, by day 3 I would have gone to the purser and initiated a search party. Help, someone find my SERVICE! Angry

See my previous post, I take sanitize to a "cleaner" level, LoL

He made up our room, but was never around to ask for things. I don't remember how we handled it. That was years ago.

First thing I do is breath a huge sigh of relief ... I am here !

Bathroom, Bar, Buffet (if on board early), exploration!

First thing after dropping bags at room is to eat. Then muster, sail away party, cigarette sale, casino.

Stop at atrium bar and toast our vacation!

Forget reality until I return to port.

Guest services and then MDR.

Now that I've sailed a few times on Princess I walk around and look for staff I recognize from previous cruises.

A couple cruises back on the Ruby the cruise director was the assistant cruise director on the Grand when I sailed on her. I went up and chatted with him briefly when I saw him on the Ruby.

This last cruise I was on the Ruby Princess and I recognized a female worker that had been on the Grand Princess when I sailed on her. She recognized me as well. That same woman said she's transferring to the Golden Princess so I'll be looking for her when I sail on the Golden in September. A male cook I met said he was transferring to the Star so I'll look for him on my June cruise.

Since I was on the Ruby five times in a row I had met several workers that I had seen previously. It was kinda fun seeing them again. I hate how they have to be so stand offish due to the fraternization rules and also they're very busy. It would have been nice to talk longer with many to them, male and female, they seem like very cool people.

Grab a drink at the Atrium bar and watch all the excited cruisers come on board. Really easy to identify the first cruisers, the excitement they display is unmatched. Then it is off to the Lido for a bite , usually a window seat.
