What amenity is most useful to you in your stateroom? I always appreciate a sewing kit. Most cruise lines no longer offer a separate conditioner so I also appreciate it when they do. It seems like cruise lines are cutting back lately to save money.
Stateroom Amenities - Whci h is Your Favorite?
I wish more included a small hair dryer! Takes up so much luggage space!
Depending on the cruise line. I miss Hair conditioner (they brought some to me when I asked my room steward for it on Celebrity). On RCCL I miss the the chocolates on my pillow at night. If I have a balcony room I do like the robes to have breakfast on the balcony in a robe (feels very luxury vacation to have room service in a robe). On Carnival the "Goodies" bowl of all the sample products on the vanity is fun.
I do have a funny story about the chocolates, I was traveling with a buddy when we were younger and drinking more. He would stay out most of the night down at the crew bar (cheap drinks). He would stumble back to the cabin, not turning on lights so he would not wake me up. One night he forgot about the chocolate and got into bed. The next morning we had an excursion planned so he had to be up early. The alarm went off, I told him to shower first. He pulls back the covers and the chocolate had melted from his body heat all over the sheets. He thought he was so drunk that he soiled himself in his sleep till he discovered it was the chocolate. We both laughed so hard we were in tears. The room steward left the chocolates on the desk for the rest of the trip. Ah, youth :-)
Hi JustMe, I too miss the hair conditioner. They may give us conditioning shampoo but it doesn't work for me. Bring back the conditioner. Gloria
