Airport is going to be out of service for a while.  But I'm always surprised by how quickly somethings are rebuilt.  Especially when big money is involved.

Informative video from a Dutch naval helicopter of the damage at Sint Maarten at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkSNWkgkH4Q

Thank you, all, for the videos.  We are scheduled to sail to Sint Maartin in January.  We will see what has been done by then.  It is one of my all time favorite places

Prayers go out to all of the people in the path of these hurricanes.

I'm betting the French and the "Brits/Dutch" guilt shame each other into a massive restoration ...

We are on the Adventure of the Seas out of San Juan on Oct 21--the ABC islands and St. Martin.

We were really looking forward to St Martin and already had an island tour booked with a stop at Maho Beach to watch the planes land.  I'm guessing that won't be happening.

Disappointing, but hopefully the island can recover so there can be a visit there in our future.

Our cruise and flights are insured, so we'll be fine whatever happens.  Wish I could say the same for all those poor folks who lost everything.

We were in St. Martin in March and loved it and St Kitts so much we hoped to return in 2019. Hard to believe the damage the islands have suffered.

Thank you for posting videos. We have been praying and just so so sad wondering. So heartbreaking at the devastation and loss. We are scheduled for our first cruise Dec. San Juan, St Maartin, St Thomas and Tortolla. We were so looking forward to seeing all the beauty of islands. Not sure how cruise lines handle these storms and aftermath. Will they change our ports or skip and add sea days?  Guess we will wait and see. Meanwhile,  Hoping we can still go and help economically at least....any bit helps...praying for all those effected.
