St. Croix and the dissatisfaction delta between cruise passenger expectations versus delivery

This was an interesting read.

If you have been to St. Croix, would you agree with the point that there is not enough to do and that people expect too much of the island itself?

I have only been to St. croix once. I went snorkling. So, I can't say too much about the island itself. However to solve a problem you first need to acknowledge that there is a problem which the island has now done. I hope that the CEOs of the cruise lines have given the island officials suggestions on how to solve the dilemma. With hopefully future investors coming in, perhaps the situation will improve. This is especially important now that Cuba is becoming more of interest to American travelers. I wish St Croix lots of success in the future.
