Splendor now in Long Beach

Carnival has sent the larger ship Splendor to Long Beach to do the Mexican Riviera cruises and sent Miracle to Florida. Any inputs?

I'm not a Carnival fan but I'm open to trying them again.

I had fun on that ship! It is headed to Singapore in the Fall of 2019 so it can't be mine much longer.Wink Surprisingly enough, after you are on it for a while the pink isn't overpowering. I did wear pink for boarding.Big Smile

Splendor--Splendour, that's interesting, as Regent will debut the Sevens Seas Splendor right after the first of 2020. Maiden voyage reservations being taken now $$$$ The Carnival Splendor has always been sailed by Carnival since it entered service in 2008. It is a sister ship to eight other Carnivals from the Conquest to the Victory, or so says Berlitz, who must be wrong-----. Wikipedia says: "Carnival Splendor is the sole ship of the Splendor class, a smaller, modified version of the Concordia-class cruise ship operated by Costa." "The ship was originally designed and ordered for Costa and is similar in design to Serena, Pacifica, Favolosa, Concordia and the Fasinosa with a larger spa and children's facilities." But the Carnival Splendor was transferred to Carnival Cruise Lines during construction. She was the largest ship in CCL until Carnival Dream debuted in September 2009." On 7 February 2018, Carnival Cruise Line announced Carnival Splendor will come to Sydney Harbour in December 2019, to operate year-round down under. Not sure how Carnival Corp's Cunard connection came up.

I didn't notice any pink October 2017 when I sailed on her.

I was our 5th anniversary from our first together on Fascination to the day.

We had a grand time at Carnival Splendor. I have created a video of my family of 24 and I in youtube, check it out

Definitely a lot of pink but as stated earlier by AP, you do not notice that after a couple of days.

I created a video of our experience of Carnival Splendor, feel free to check it out
