Solo cabin cruises

Has anyone did a solo cabin on a cruise? What did you think? What are the best? Was it worth it? Thanks!

I booked a studio cabin on the Quantum OTS. The cabins are in great locations on the ship—midship. Yes...there is a full size bed and ample storage space. The shower was nice as well. There is no chair or cocktail table. You get an ottoman and half a desk. To watch TV you have to sit on the bed. There is no “quad” for you to meet other solos. The cabins are integrated with the other balcony cabins. You have to know the cabin number to know that it’s a studio. For a few dollars more coupled with a sale and CAS balcony discount, you’re better off with a regular balcony—at least for me. So, I cancelled the studio cabin I booked on the Anthem for a regular balcony cabin. It was much more spacious. Although the cabin was a bit too small for me; the balcony was almost half the size of my cabin—at least it looked and felt that way. The balcony was great! You get a single supplement on Royal Caribbean after 340 points. Instead of paying 200% you pay 150%.
