So, What's New

It's been awhile since I posted here, and I was wondering what's up with some of you?  Have you been on any trips recently ? Anything booked ?  Happy or displeased with a recent trip ?

Me ?   October voyage on the Carnival Splendor coming up.   Just a 5 day cruise to get away a bit.    Then, for 2015, an April TA on the Serenade of the Seas.  Other than those, nothing planned.

Please, get involved in the roll calls and the chats.   I'm beggin ya.   Nothing worse than seeing 20 names on a roll call, and no one in the chat area.   Makes no sense really.

Just back from Norwegian Jewel in Alaska (review coming soon!). had a great time.

No other cruises scheduled...YETWink

Make sure to check out the Indian buffett on Splendor - really good food.

Sounds good. Glad you liked Alaska

We took 2 cruises (Jewel of the Seas & Brilliance of the Seas) last year but haven't had any vacations yet this year. Just looking forward to our December cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas.

Hey Tim: I am set for the October 4 Carnival Glory for 7 nights, to have a b-day at sea. Not sure what I'll do for the rest of the year, I'd like to be away for the holidays also but my friends that have time don't have money and the ones with money don't have time :-(

Yes I have signed up for roll call and I may even chat.

Nice JusMe!! Been reading some really good reviews on the Glory. Plan to have a good time and you WILL!! Even though December 8 is a couple weeks from Christmas, were hoping to see some decorations on the Enchantment. Try to chat. I have made many friends over the years cruises that I am still friends with today. As a matter of fact, the Enchantment cruise was orchastrated by someone we had in our group (group we formed online for our Brilliance cruise last November) for her 60th b'day. So far, there are 10 of us going and the list grows...

Splendor Oct 11th for a b- day cruise

No better way to spend a B'Day Bak!!! On your cruise, you can celebrate all week long!!!

Tim, the ships I have been on have started to decorate rite after thanksgiving. I love a shit at x-mass, then I just like X-mass lights.

I had a blast on the Carnival Inspiration last Feb and May, so I figured a bigger Carnival ship would be even more fun. We already have 60 people signed up on roll call. I am starting to really like Carnival.

Here’s something new: I’m pretty sure BAK1061 was named Compound Cruiser just a few days ago! How ‘bout it Bak, is there a story you’d like to share about that?Big Smile

More on topic: 2014 has been a fantastic year of cruising for us! There were some amazing deals and from January to April we squeezed in five short cruises on four different cruise lines (16 nights total I think). We did that without using vacation days, just regular days off work and holidays! Living in central Florida makes it easy to cruise and even go to work the same day we get off the ship.

Late May was a big family and friends cruise to Alaska aboard Radiance of the Seas. Best of all, almost everyone booked on board for Serenade of the Seas sailing Northern Europe in May 2015 – and even more are joining in!

But that’s not all! Next month we’re on Celebrity Silhouette cruising the Eastern Mediterranean to celebrate our 20th anniversary! Very excited about that!

And there will be many more cruises in our future as well!
