Snorkeling in Antigua

We received our itinerary change the other day confirming that we will be going to Antigua instead of St. Martin for our cruise in December.  This will be our first time in Antigua, so I am looking for any snorkeling suggestions.  We usually bring our own equipment, so we are okay with areas that are "off the beaten path".  My hubby prefers to do beach-entry snorkeling, but I'm not sure if there any decent reefs close to shore. I'm cool with doing a catamaran sail n snorkel in order to get in some decent snorkeling.

Does anyone have any recommendations of beaches or excursions to look at?

Gee, it has been a long time since I have vacationed in Antigua.  So, I would rather not recommend a place.  However, my family always enjoyed our time spent there.  I am sure you will, too.  Have fun!
