Sneaking Booze On a Cruise Ship

Bon Voyage magazine published a story on how to sneak booze on a ship: http://cruiseline.com/bonvoyage/cruising-101/q-a/how-to-sneak-booze-onto-a-cruise-ship

What methods have you used to sneak booze on a ship? Any tips or tricks? Has anyone used the mouthwash bottle idea?

I've used the all plastic camping flasks. Kept them on my hip through security.

Never opened them onboard.   Big Smile

It's just not worth the effort.   The prices aren't any worse than any Manhattan bar.   At least NCL has a good bourbon selection at Maltings Pub.     What I need is a way to smuggle aboard good coffee Happy.     I spend more at the Java Cafe than at any bar.

Some friends of mine say they have had luck smuggling adult beverages using a "Rum Runner" device http://www.amazon.com/Original-Rum-Runner-Flask-Kit/dp/B003JQUCGY/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1387216454&sr=8-13&keywords=rum+runner  on multiple cruises with no problem. I'm tempted to try it myself.

Pay your porter a little something extra and we bring a recapped soda bottle chaser mixed in.

Listerine bottles! if you put a lighter up to the plastic you can reseal it :)

Also, get your wine bottle and a friend you knows how to cork it and but your liquor in there....
