Sign & Sail Card/Room Key

i am curious to know what you do after you disembark the ship with your room key card.  Do you throw it out?  Do you save it as a souvenir?

I'm not too sure why I save them, but save them I do. I have a whole stack of them now.

Thanks for the photo.

When I moved from my house to a condo, I had to get rid of many of my photos.  I just kept a few from each cruise.  Now I store them mainly on the computer.

I'm unsure why I keep them, but keep them I do, too.  I guess they bring back happy memories for me.

Hi BAK1061 :) That is a nice selection ! I hope I do not bother but I would like to ask if by any chance you would let them go as I would be interested .. I am a Romanian collector and I have just started .. Thank you Brst Regards Sergiu

I am keeping them and one day I will put together a scrap book for each cruise.  I also keep a little bit of sand from each beach we go to :)

Hi :) no worries ! Thank you very much for your kind answer. Have a nice day Sergiu

I put them in each cruises scrapbook. This past August was first cruise my son only had his card from this cruise. In the past he wore them all on same lanyard. It drove the crew crazy when he was getting off ship at ports. But it was a great conversation starter in the elevators. Everyone always commented.

I know what you mean about moving.  I had to throw out so many cruise photo albums that I felt like crying.  I did save the professional ones that I had taken on our early Carnival cruises.  Good thing that I did since Carnival gave us credit for those cruises when I faxed them the photos.  They had the name of the ship printed on one corner and some of them had our family standing under an archway with the name of the ship plus the name of the cruise and date.  A couple of them were taken even with the captain.
