Shuttle on Debarkation Day

Our ship (Carnival) is due to arrive back in port by 8am on debarkation day, what would be a good time to arrange for shuttle pick up back to airport at Port Canaveral? We are not in any rush as our flights home are the next day but need an approx time when booking. Would 930am or 10am be sufficient? Last cruise was 10yrs ago, don't recall how long it took to get off. Thanks!

Since you are not in a hurry, I'd guesstimate the later time.  When we book a shuttle through Carnival, we do it on board and ask them for their recommendation. Depending on your debarkation number it might even be later than 10:00 AM.  Just remember to be patient.

They usually give you a time based on your return flight.

Unless you plan on carrying off your own luggage I would suggest a later departure time.  If you carried off your luggage the 9:30 time would be OK.  Those carrying off their luggage get preference.  Since your flight is not until the next day, you probably would not get an early time to disembark.

I think it depends on what your plans are for the day, whether you want to get off as early as you can, or enjoy the last few minutes onboard. If you are spending a day at Disney, choose the earliest time you can to allow for the drive, but if you are having a beach or outlet mall shopping day, you could relax and book a later departure.
