Shuffleboard

So I haven't seen many on the new mega ships, but I remember when there used to be shuffleboards on one of the decks that went around the ship.... Does anyone really shuffleboard? I don't recall seeing anyone using them....

I have not played personally but on every cruise I have been on I have seen people using the shuffle board on several sea days. Usually when the weather and seas were good. And for the most part on those days there was usually a group playing.

We enjoyed playing a few times on each cruise.  We also had fun with miniature golf... which is going by the wayside as well.

We have shuffleboard at our condominium.  Hardly anyone uses it.  When my grand kids visit, they do.  Recently we renovated the court so it looks nicer.  I don't remember seeing a court on the ms. Amsterdam but I will look if the Koningsdam when I cruise on her in Dec.

We’ve seen people playing shuffleboard on several cruises.  I always wonder if they really know the rules or are just goofing around (I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference).

now that could be interesting ... learn to time your shots to take advantage of the ship movement
