Ship's coin

I know that Carnival has a Ship's coin welded somewhere into the ship where passengers can find it.  Does anyone know if all the cruise lines do this?  And have you found any of them?

Here is the one on the Carnival Dream taken 1/15/17:

I know nothing about this.  Thanks for the information.

I usually forget to look for the coin, but this last cruise we had a 13 year old fist time cruiser.  I took the photo and gave her the challenge to find it, with a prize if she did.  She needed several clues but did find it by the last evening.

I knew about it on Carnival. Not sure about NCL.

However, on NCL, I still find chocolate mints on my bed at night. I don't have to look very hard either. Big Smile  Wink

On my next cruise, I'm going to go look for it because I've never seen one.

I do have a Carnival Chocolate mint that I found in a suit case a couple years ago and I was about to toss it when a though occurred to me that I should keep it and post a picture of it when someone would post that Carnival doesn't leave mints on the pillow any longer. If Zy was around, I'm quite sure he would want to purchase it from me at a very handsome price.

We have heard about it but never looked for them. I love seeing the photos though!

Princess also still has mints and they taste very good!Big Smile
