Ship Mate App - Have You Downloaded it Yet?

I was wondering how many of us have downloaded the Ship Mate App?  Do you use it?  What is you experience with it?  I have it on my iPad

I have it on my phone and I pad.  I really only use it when I have a cruise booked for the roll call and chat features.

Funny thing though, I now have two avatars set up, Jake, and my dog Roscoe.  I don't know how that happened.  It says I checked in yesterday, but I was checked in months ago.  Odd

Doesn't work on my Microsoft phone and haven't bothered on my Ipad.

DH uses the app and the FB page. I refuse to do FB and am not interested in the App, since I rarely use my phone for anything except texting or calling--maybe an occasional pic.

I downloaded it but don't use it.

All you up-to-date folks have me beat.  I still use a flip phone that doesn't include apps and we have this computer where I chat with all of you...the app seems overkill. I don't use an i-pad.  So I have not downloaded the app.  Sorry, still stuck in the 20th century.

AuntPinkie, my job has forced me into the 21st century, but I went kicking and screaming LOL  For my personal life, I pick and choose among the few things that will benefit me and refuse to participate in the rest.   Anybody who has my cell # knows that half the time I don't even know where it is, and I will not answer it when I'm driving (safety reasons of course, but mostly I like the peace and quiet).  So you are not the Lone Ranger :)

 

I am still waiting for a gadget to find my cell phone or my glasses. 

 

What's a screenshot ?   

I think it comes down to which device I post from, phone or I-Pad.  Usually I use my I pad, but the original may have been from the phone. Especially if I was out at the time.  I wouldn't sweat it.

I downloaded about a week ago. Just starting to really get into it.
