Sadly more deaths onbaord

Sadly two more die while on vacation.  I am thinking positive thoughts for their wives and families. I am sure Royal Caribbean is doing all it can to help.

That is sad :(

It is a little irritating that the picture with the story shows a Carnival ship when these deaths occurred on Royal Caribbean.

This is sad, to say the least.  It is a bit odd that two men of similar ages would both pass on the same ship within hours of each other. I feel for their wives and family regardless.

My quote button isn't working... so I copied this in order for my response to make sense.

I notices that as well, but I'm not surprised as the general media doesn't seem to like Carnival much.  "If it is bad news, it must be Carnival."

Sorry my edit isn't working either.  That should be "noticed" not notices.

I experienced a few tech glitches today as well. My posting history shows no less than four new topic posts on the same subject... but it is not appearing in the forum feed. Must be the Ides of December. LOL :/

Thanks for update AUNTPINKIE my condolences to both of the families , I agree at least I hope ROYAL is assisting both families. ............  P.S, enjoy your upcoming sea vacation,,

That's why every ship has a morgue. I am guessing this was a Southern Caribbean that round tripped out of San Juan. Otherwise how would they have been staying in Puerto Rico in a hotel.  You can't just get off mid cruise.

Is the Anthem of the Seas cursed?

Thoughts out to the families.

Death on a cruise ship is common. Ships are designed with cold storage. I have witnessed a death in the MDR on The Song Of America long ago, Just a thud and face down into his dinner plate.

I agree that the article could have used a photo of a RCI ship and not use a Carnival ship.

My thoughts to the families, but I don't think it is anything more than coincidence that they were on the same ship.

The article though, appears to have been written by someone working for the elementary school newspaper. One paragraph dealt with the topic as stated in the headline, and the majority of the article was about tourism in San Juan. Added to the lack of substance, simply throwing in a picture of any cruise ship because the article mentions a cruise ship is just plain stupid.
