RESEARCH PEOPLE!

Sorry, but I have a small rant.

Why do some people think they need to bash a cruiseline/ship that didn't meet their expectations, when if they had done a little research before hand, they would have discovered that particular cruiseline/ship wasn't what they were wanting in the first place and would have saved themselves a lot of frustrations? I see so many people that get frustrated that there's nothing to do on a smaller ship compared to the larger ship they went on before. HELLO!!!! Of course there won't be...It's a smaller ship! Save yourself a lot of disappointment and do some research to find out which cruiseline/ship is right for you and what you are looking for (and save us the headache of having to read through your negative comments that aren't really justified because you didn't plan right).

Rant over.

I know what you all are thinking, but it’s not me.

Well said and I do not totally think it is a matter of lack of research. Unfortunately we are in a time and age where some people feel they are entitled to the moon for no particular reason and are just not happy unless they can complain. Sad but true. The killers of pleasure .. entitlement and expectations.

Do you have a twin?

I agree - well said.

Some people just need to complain, regardless of research.  I just wish the negative ones stay off my ship, LOL

My cruise sucked... No pool, no buffet, no pretty women... Oh wait... That was a cargo ship I was on.. Never mind..

This is why I enjoy inviting new people to cruise.  I like explaining the differences of ships, itineraries, cost, what you might get and most importantly "trade-offs".  But then I am the resource for their research.Wink

This is a good topic, by a new member.  Welcome, Kandamonk!

People think that all ships are the same and then they are unhappy when they book a cheap cruise and it is on an older smaller ship.

That's why I like this group... I am investigating and soaking up as much as I can. We cruise in November. Super Excited. Happy

That is why you go with an open mind and just enjoy!  Happy cruising!
