Regent

I'm thinking of making a change for a change. Has anyone sailed with Regent or Costa? How are they? I've begun some research and would like an experienced reply.

I've been watching the spring 2019 schedule for Carnival, and wonder how many posted itineraries can still change if ships are moved around or ports change for any reason. At least we've got 2018 booked.

I really enjoy the hunt, and the shock of the payment is mitigated by the knowledge that I am going on a cruise.

It's waiting for the Summer 2019 itineraries to be posted that bothers meAngry

I like doing the research for cruises and land vacations, but it's the payments that hurt. Crying

Yep... It's the hunting that hurts.

Regent is more expensive but have your Travel Agent shop for a bargain. You never know.... I have not traveled on the cruise line. As for Costa, I have cruised on her but it was a long time ago. I suggest that you read the current ship reviews of these two cruise lines on this Website to help make up your mind. Happy hunting

Isn't it awful when you must not go on a particular cruise because you are already booked on another one? I've had it happen to me!Crying

Haw, about the time I completed my mouthing off about the high rates Regent has resorted to, my wife came in with their latest brochure (I didn't mention that Regent sends us a brochure or notice on the average about once every three days) which had a cruise in it she really likes, I think she wanted me to book it. It is on the new Seven Seas Explorer too, a two weeker, includes a TA. I took a look and was surprised at the rate. Maybe there is something hidden that I missed but it looks like a pretty good deal. Unfortunately, I had to say "Babe" I can't book this. She said "why??". I said we are going to be on the Pacific Princess in the mid east when this cruise leaves Miami.

Princess sails out of Red Hook, Brooklyn

Royal and Regal Princess are on the East coast different times of the year. They’re Princess’ fanciest ships. Also Caribbean Princess is out there.

OK, thanks again. I'll look at Princess as well. Hope they sail from the East Coast.
