Recent Fire Onboard the Freedom of the Seas

Do you think that people are getting apprehended about cruising after the recent fire aboard the Freedom of the Seas?

These events do not scare me from cruising.  I have never experienced any kind of scare such as this that involved actually reporting to muster stations.  Once on a cruise there was a small fire.  We were told that it was contained.  We were advised to stay in our staterooms for further updates.  The Captain came on the intercom several times giving us updates.  The fire was in the Piano Bar and quickly put out.

I have always considered the risks associated with cruising as part of the "deal", so to speak. Onboard fire is one of those risks but it did not stop me from cruising... and I don't see that happening in the future either.

these things are beyond our control, anyway but they do teach us to be aware of what's going on around us and be vigilant.  Thanks for replying.

Nor do I.  It just teaches us to be vigilant and to be more aware of what is happening around us.  I always carry a small flashlight with me on cruises just in case the electricity goes out.  It just gives me a small piece of mind.
