Re-Calibrating GPS on Royal

One night there was an announcement that they would be turning the ship 360 degrees to calibrate GPS - not everyone heard and after the second turn, many people "believed" the deck chatter that the captain was drunk and going in circles - good laugh had by all!!

This is where the cruise director missed it because he could have played on the ships PA Billy Preston.

I wonder if there was a voice that kept saying,  recalibrating route.

That voice drives me bonkers!!  She gets plumb testy if you don't do exactly what she says.

Hey, my quote function is back.

I could swear mine once said, " hey, moron, you missed another turn. "

Maybe it was more than once.

Maybe he was turning Port and wasn't able to remember which side was Starboard?

My GPS comes up with some phrases every 10 minutes or so just to keep you alert.

While stopped at a Border Patrol checkpoint one morning, it decides to announce, "Don't worry about that thumping coming from the trunk".
