RCCL's observation pods

At least three of RCCL's ships have the 300ft observation pods.  Anyone here ever been up in one of those?  Any pictures you can share?  Hope to do it someday.

What's an observation pod? How would the view differ from what you see standing on the top deck looking around?

It's a big glass ball on a long arm that swings out over the ocean.   I guess you get a great view of the ship

The original design called for two pods, one on each side, on the aft end of the ship.  But then someone got an overhead view of the prototype and renamed the ship P€N!$  of the Seas

you have to be visual to make that joke work
