question about future cruises

With all the specials going on, are you able to call, and see if you can get the specials (OBC) added to future cruises that are already planned?

You can always try.

Hard to say what will happen going forward. I see Viking has suspended operations until May 01 and most cruise line stocks have tanked in a major way. Over the next few quarters I suspect the cruise lines will be reporting losses or no profits but their pockets are deep enough that they can weather these things but once things start to bounce back I suspect that prices will rise because the cruise lines will be under pressure to perform and show a profit but they will also have to hounor all of the FCC they have issued. Only one way to make up for all of that and that is to raise prices or invent more things to charge for.

You should contact the cruise line directly, different lines have different policies. Some may charge more for things, while others will be practically giving away cruises to fill the ship.

It never hurts to call and inquire. Sometimes, if you are denied, call back a 2nd time, and speak with a different rep. Stories change between reps I have come to find.

Be interesting to find out. Let us know how you make out?
