As for using the ipads for excursions, they functioned brilliantly and we were able to book excursions with ease. The problem was actually with RCCL for not giving great descriptions of the excursions and there wasnt anyone manning the excursion desk to ask questions about specific details. That was the only stumbling block, no human available and we had to simply rely on the scant information available and hope we were happy with the tour we knew very little about. Our concierge tried her best to answer but since it was the first time at all of these ports, she didnt know much about them either.
