Prepaid gratuties or pay as you sail ?

Myself, I like to prepay. Because the crew works hard to make your cruise special. No matter what line you sail on. If we receive super service, we will give a specific crew member an extra tip.

Prepaid.  If I ever had terrible service, I would be at Guest Services naming names instead of punishing everyone who is in the gratuity pool.

Agree completely with Grandmajo! I like to prepay so when I step on the ship, my vacation is paid for and I can relax and enjoy ...

I prepay. I cannot imagine being on such a poor ship that I would even consider pulling them.

I prepay at the same time I book.

Me too. I would never remove the gratuities, but would mention the names of anyone who I felt hadn't earned them.

Me too

Prepay here also.

I am getting ready to pre-pay this cruise because I didn't like having an expense waiting for me at the end of my cruise.  I like keeping my "happy feeling" when I get off the ship!Happy  I will tip my room steward extra if I feel they have done a really good job, which is usually the case. I've never had a complaint.  Only 119 days to have that spoiled, happy feeling again! Big Smile

Yep... My first cruise I had a 400 dollar tab waiting for me.  I prepay absolutely everything...
