Power Adaptors

I will need to use a power adaptor on Ovation of the Seas but I'm not sure which one to take.

Hoping someone can help

If you mean an adaptor for 110>220 (or 220>110), most ships will have both types available in the cabin.

If you mean a power strip, then either a 3-way splitter(like this:3-Outlet Grounding Adapter, Kasonic [UL Listed] Plug Extender; Heavy-Duty Grounded Power Tap - 3 Pack

or a short extension cord like this:Cable Matters 2-Pack 16 AWG 2 Prong Extension Cord (3 Outlet Extension Cord) with Tamper Guard White in 6 Feet - Available 6FT - 25FT

Make sure not to take anything with surge protection. If it has three prongs and an on/off switch or button, it is probably surge protected. They are not allowed on the ship due to fire safety (ships are wired differently and surge protectors tend to catch fire).

The above can easily be found at any hardware store, Walmart or Amazon.

OK Thank you. Last time I couldn't use my computer as the plugholes were different

Good info.

I have never been on the Ovation OTS, but they should have the American and European plugs in the staterooms.

Hopefully someone with experience on this particular ship could chime in.

If you are really anxious, WalMart or Amazon do have the plug adaptors as long as your device is able to run on the 110 and 220V current.Unidapt EU Europe to US Usa Travel High Quality Plug Adapter Power Converter AC

New Comment on Discussion - Power AdaptorsOur first cruise was on Celebrity Solstice. It was fantastic. Loved every minute and my husband, who was a very reluctant companion, asked when the next one was going to be!
