Port Everglades

I'm reading the reviews and came across one that is claiming that Port Everglades is the worst.

Is Port Everglades the worst port?

Not at all ... I love it and have cruised out of there on every single Princess cruise ... easy access from airport and numerous entrances into the port so traffic is usually tame/

Great!!!

I'm flying in two days early and Granny gave info on shuttle service and I'm already to go and that review threw a  curve at me.

Thanks.

I've mentioned this before but I have great success with Uber in Ft. Lauderdale!  Email me if you want some other info ... have a hotel booked? We've also rented cars super cheap from Alamo (around $14/day) at airport and then drop at the Alamo near pier and take free shuttle ... Almost all my cruises have left out of Port Everglade so I'm really familiar with the area ...

It is actually our favorite.  There have been a few cruises that the debarkation was poorly organized, but when possible we choose Ft. Lauderdale.

We've sailed out of Port Everglades twice, and no issues. Very close/convenient to the airport and many of the hotels have shuttles to the terminal. Last there is 2015 and my only criticism was that the waiting area was very outdated versus POM or PC. I read that they were expanding and upgrading. If that's been done, it should be a really pleasant experience.

Port Everglades is my port of choice for boarding a Princess ship. While the buildings look a little old, getting in/out a half dozen times the past three years has been easy.   So close to the airport too!   NO complaints nor issues.

We've sailed out of NY-Manhattan, Tampa, Galveston and  PortEverglades.  We've been sailing out of Port Everglades for the last few years.  I've never experienced a problem.  Close to airport and hotels.  Usually hotels will have a shuttle.  Very big but plenty of room.  Facility itself is nice and clean.  Plenty of taxis when you debark--taxi ride from port to airport is less than $20.

Hey Hey.. To all , Thank you!

Port Everglades was great.  Galveston was awful, but that was before they did the staggered check in for Carnival.

I have a 11:00am check in time and this will be my first at staggered check in. Five weeks 1 day.
