Perfect Length

What is your perfect length of a cruise? My boyfriend and his family were having this conversation. 5 was WAY too short for me, 7 was good and 9 seemed perfect (But I have not done anything over 9). He is now saying 7 was too short lol

I've only done 7 and 8 nighters -- I prefer the 8. I do have a 10 planned for next year so we'll see how that goes.

10 day cruise is good for me

10 or 11 seems to be a good happy medium. I have never gone less than 7 days and actually find 7 days to be a bit short. Usually takes 2 days to unwind and get into full relaxed cruise mode. The last day although nice is usually a lost day because you are packing to disembark and in your mind the cruise is almost over so that only leaves a few days between those to really enjoy it. Our last cruise was a 14 day one which I absolutely loved but my wife thought it was a bit on the long side when you add in before and after cruise and travel we were gone just shy of 3 weeks. So we have settled on 10 or 11 days as being ideal.

I found 7 just a little too short.  Perhaps a 8 or 10 day would be best for me.  Not my wife though as she gets to missing the kids and grand kids.  LOL

For us, the 7 day is just a taste, but we are going to Bermuda again in 2017. The best is 18 to 23 days as we get a full three weeks on board and enjoy plenty of sea days .

Panama Canal among the top selections.

For us, 10 days.   It will be longer when we have no pets waiting at home.    Like the one to the left.

5 if it's a Carnival Cruise

Now that is just Wrong!Big Smile

For me 14 has been great on RCI and Celebrity so I can do a transatlantic and enjoy the sea days.  I have looked into some 30 to 45 day cruises but not easy to find friends to go for that long.

If it is NCL 3 is more then enough time with bad service and bad food.
