Overnight Stay in Rome

We are arriving 1 day prior to our departure and plan to stay in Rome. Our travel agent has booked us at Hotel NH Vittorio Veneto Rome with transfers from the airport to the hotel and transfer from hotel to ship for $185 per person based on double occupancy. This seems a little high to me but just thought I would ask the more experience travelers if this is reasonable. This has not been confirmed yet so we can make a change prior to 6/12. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

The terminal port for Rome is at least 2 hours away from the city. That is why the transfers are so expensive. You could try booking it independently.

Last time I was in Rome we took a Limo from the hotel to the port, I think it was about $ 150.00 so the $ 185.00 each is not to bad if it is a private car service.

This year I'm going to spend my summer vacation in Italy. I found first class tickets to Rome at https://www.iflyfirstclass.com/city/to-rome-fco for sale and decided to stay there for a week. That's also my first trip to Italy and my good friend adviced me to stay in Via Veneto, St. Peter Cathedrale or Piaza Navona hotels.
