Hi cgv, thanks for your review. Sorry to hear of the difficulties on the cruise. The ships do have larger wheelchair accessible staterooms with wider doors and accessible bathrooms. They are very limited in number however, and need to be reserved at the time you book your cruise. This can be handled by a travel agent or by the reservation agent if you book directly through the cruise line. Just wanted you to be aware of that so you don't encounter a problem on your next cruise.
I too am sorry you had trouble. In the future, call an agent at the cruise line and explain everything you expect.
I will be you a bottle of wine that the agent at the cruise line will bend over backwards to meet your needs. I know that on NCL any concerns are taken care of at the agent level and that works well for me.
