One year ago today we were in mid Pacific, watching the big game.

That was the third time we had been on a cruise that coincided with the Super Bowl. This one was the best bowl coverage yet, excellent. Outstanding too was because it was offered in the Cabaret Lounge, where three large screens were used to display the action. The crew outdid themselves by having a huge tasty buffet line of goodies and eats available throughout the entire game. Lots left over after the game even.

The three screens going all the time showing the action allowed me to jump around, if I didn't like how the game was going on one, I switched to another. Haw. Besides, it was a good game.

Today, I'm stuck in the land of ice and snow having to make game snacks myself.

With crappy game to boot....should've been NO and KC....the evil empire continues...and most of the commercials sucked too. more hosses, less any event, two days and a wakeup till we head to NO. fwiw, haven't even started to pack yet.

Strange, we got invited up to our son's home and daughter and family there too. That is exactly the same comments they made. Except, problem for us is, we don't have a cruise to pack for. But going to Hawaii with the grandkids in a couple of months, so that's not too shabby.

The game was interesting in that the first half only had 3 points total. I agree that the two teams that "should" have been there weren't. Next year will see another possibility and maybe I'll watch the whole thing.Wink I was also disappointed in the commercials (that I bothered to watch), I had hopes for some fun ones that I could really laugh with.
