Okay Clever Cruisers - What Do You Do to "Beat the Heat" in the Summertime?

Stay in A/C ...Swim ... Put ice in your underwear ...How do you beat the heat?

I go down to the beach as much as I can, take my spray bottle and book and I'm good for a few hours. We will turn on the a/c if it gets over 30C because the dog doesn't do well in the heat.

I walk along the beach early in the morning If there is no breeze, I take along a small battery operated fan that I wear around my neck. Then it's time for a dip in the pool - a long dip. Don't forget your sunscreen. I see plenty of large red lobsters where I live and they walk around on two feet.

Being the active person that I am, I stay in the A/C Big Smile

I stay away from the desert, no ice, no shrink factor

We just built a house last year so money is still tight. Cannot afford a real pool yet, so we bought a 10 foot round pool from K-Mart. First attempt, could not believe how un-level the back yard really was (2 inch guesstimate turned out to be 8 inches difference across the 10 feet). Leveled, built up, second attempt worked.

Unfortunately, all the leveling did not prevent the shrink factor. Darn!

Hey !!! What I do in the privacy of my own home..........oh.........beat the HEAT............

My alternate answer was:

summer is no different than winter. I just use more lotion because.......oh you said beat the HEAT !

I really do need to change the font size on my I Pad.

answers like this gave Mary and Mischelle fits. Now poor Simon has to deal with me and my 7 year old potty humour

I go and visit Bonnie. It's cooler in the northern wilderness.

Did you know Bonnie lives in an igloo? Another fact gleaned from Funville.
