Not getting promos offered at booking

Hello all,

we are are taking our first cruise in September. When we booked in May, there was a promo where we could add two of five offered ‘perks’: free WiFi, onboard credit and others. I selected our two, along with our preferred main dining time and placed the deposit. I had the email confirmation sent to my husband. Now that I am looking at our calendar, I did not see the dining times for each day. I called customer service and was told our dining is reflected on our booking. I asked about the perks and was met with a confused sounding rep. He could not see any additional items on the reservation. And looking at the email confirmation, there are no details. Only our names, reservation number and sail date. Is anyone else experiencing this or has experienced missed perks when booking?

I have heard of problems such as this with online booking. Try to straighten it out BEFORE you cruise. Once on the cruise your chances of getting what you chose are almost nil. Try phoning the agency that you booked through if they have a phone number. Keep all paperwork that you have concerning perks until after the cruise. Next time take a screenshot of the offer & keep it with you.

Usually that info should have been included on the booking confirmation email. It should state what was paid and list the reservation number and any perks including OBC that were included in the booking.

What cruise line is it with? I would definitely get it straightened out before you leave.

Just out of curiosity, were those perks offered on the line's web page, or of a travel agent's?
