Norwegian Escape - Have not even sailed and am extremely disappointed
I booked directly with NCL, on the website. Which the supervisor I spoke with on the phone told me "although we display on one screen that you receive one free 'free at sea' per person with your reservation that is not the case, it is written in fine print that we exclude certain cabins". I booked a room that shows that you receive (in the photo I have posted) but because I did not have the option though booking to select which amenity she said it would have been in the terms and conditions where we are not granted one. Great service....her exact words ' you should not book online'.
I have to agree with the supervisor that you should NOT book online for reasons such as this. The not so "Fine Print" only indicates that " Excluded on IX, OX, BX & MX categories.". If she upgraded you to a category that was NOT in the exclusions, you would have been afforded the amenity. The "$300 more to upgrade" then saying you still owe $819 makes me wonder exactly WHICH category she was upgrading you to because that sounds a bit expensive for an inside!
Sounds all too confusing. Get a hold of them again, try to redo the whole thing . There should be no fee for cancellations within the time frame.
Spoke with a supervisor that was competent, spoke english, knew exactly what she was talking about. All resolved. An issue with communication and someone that was not willing to help, but instead argued and gave false information.
Open mind about this cruise and company.
Oh my, this is not good! Use a reputable cruise travel agent next time.
