Norwegian Escape guarantee balcony room.

I always pick which room I'd like to have. This time went with guarantee room. It had me pick the room when booking...8112??? Confusing I thought they assigned room closer to sail date. Thus room is forward with extra large balcony. Deck 8. Is this normal for BX room..them letting you pick from 4 rooms?

You might be confusing guaranteed room, with guaranteed category.

Call them and confirm that is in fact a guarantee room, get names of who you talk to. I had something similar happen a few years ago. We booked an inside guaranteed room. When I checked my reservation we were assigned a room that was the last cabin all the way forward. I callled and was told not to worry they just did that and my room would be changed prior to sailing. When I called a few days before sailing NCL told me That was in fact my room rather rudely. Worst cabin we have ever had. It was my fault, I was pretty sure it wasn’t right but I took the first person at their word and didn’t push it.

If you are happy with assigned cabin I would still confirm. Enjoy your cruise.

If you booked through NCL directly they would have sent you a pdf confirmation which will have the room number if assigned and the prices. If this shows the price for the guarantee and also the assigned room check for the small print for anything that says they can reassign if they choose. If that is not there and the details and right price are then you have a great deal because that pdf is a confirmation of booking therefore a legal binding document. As Bubba54 says you can always call them to confirm as well.
