Four ADULTS in an inside cabin WILL be too small! Sounds like maybe you should have gotten two inside cabins.

I have done 3 adults in a cabin and that was tight, I could not imagine having 4 in a cabin, no room to move to get dressed for dinner.
How strange that NCL, which started freestyle dining, can't seem to get those lines eliminated. I do not know how you manage four passengers in a inside room - especially since two are teens. Nice to read, though that you enjoyed the food and the shows. Those are the two of the most important reasons that I take cruises. The third is the itinerary.
I really enjoyed the Dawn, even with an inside cabin, I cannot imagine two more people in that cabin though. As it was, the room was so small that you had to go outside to change your mind. Experience is a fine teacher though, next time I'm sure you will look at other options.
We did an interior cabin on Carnival twice with my family and this cabin just seemed very small when comparing to the Carnival ships we have been on. We will definitely cruise again, but I am sure I we will get a much larger cabin and focus more on the things on the ship for our kids. The big thing was that this particular ship did not have a mini-golf course or water slide or any other feature that our kids were excited about, and this was spring break, so the pool and hot tubs were overly full of college kids, so my teens were bored.
