Nooks & Crannies on Cruise Ships

I am always amazed at the number of "seating areas" scattered all over the ship both inside and out where you can sit and enjoy the view, a book or drink. Do you wander all over the ship seeking out special spots or generally stay in the common areas?

I like some of the window seats,  great places to sit and read.

Always explore for the nooks and crannies. I found some great spots to relax and read, I am amazed that some people never find them.

My BF has an odd sleeping pattern, so when I'm sleeping, he's usually awake (2-3am) so he will take a walk around the ship sometimes.

That's one of my favorite things to do on sea days.  Great for people watching and just watching the sea go by as well.

Mostly the common areas for me.  I have cruised alone for the most part so I don't need to be anymore isolated.

The venue I usually like most is lounge where the band plays at night.  There are often side areas that are quiet during the day.... except on art auction days :/

On sea days, I usually try to find a quiet place to read. Last year the ship left San Juan in the afternoon & my dad & I had the whole serenity deck to ourselves. I guess a lot of people were getting ready for an early dinner. It was a cool afternoon so it was nice time to read & look out over the ocean.

We are often found walking the ship, it is a favorite activity.  A favorite quite place on any of the Carnival Spirit class ships is the interior promenade on deck 3.
