New test program on Splendor

A friend sent me this and asked for my thoughts.  I thinks it is a poor idea and I see a lot of possible problems and very little gain.  What do you think?

Test program on the splendor. Sail and sign cards will be delivered to your cabin mail box.
You will use your boarding pass for all transactions until you retrieve your card.

Personally, I don't think it is a very good idea to leave the S&S cards in mailboxes. It sure doesn't sound like a very secure way of getting them to the guests. I'm going to miss that first "ping" sound as we board the ship.

Just think how big my "Sign and Sail" card collection could be if I'm one of the first onto the ship !

I'd be hessitant. I'm very possessive and like to look at my card and use it right away. Board the ship, go straight to a bar.

Bad bad idea and plenty of room for fraud...I would be totally against that.

I'm in total agreement.  When there are between three to four thousand people on a ship the possibility of a few bad apples is possible.

Almost sounds like an April fool's joke.

Not a good idea.

Worst possible idea.

Not a good idea for all the reasons stated, plus it makes me happy when they hand me my card at checkin.

Bad idea to leave a sail & sign card in an unsecure location.

Not sure which loonie thought that one up or even what the advantage of it is. Not the brightest idea I have heard them come up with.
