Here is the article

I wonder now if NCL will increase charges or alter charges to promote more use.

I'm not one to really worry about being connected while on a cruise. If I need to check my e-mail I can buy 5 minutes worth of internet time to get the job done" banking, short notes to family, snide remarks to co-workers..." I'm beginning to understand those that need to be connected every single moment, that seems to be their lifeline to reality.... While on a cruise, sitting on a deck chair  looking at serene ocean vista, holding a cold beer... that's a better reality than, who just posted a picture of a cat on Facebook....

I have never used internet on a ship,  if needed I can check e-mail from a cafe in port for free on my phone.  I would suggest NCL upgrade customer service and food in the MDR first.
