Thanks for posting!  Every time we have visited Nassau, I intend to try the conch salad, but somehow have always gotten sidetracked.  Think it might be because DH would starve before eating any seafood other than fish sticks or Captain D's fried fish fillets? Surprised

I will have Hush Puppies.

That’s good to know. I saw a TV show just this week where a couple visiting Nassau were enjoying fresh caught conch in Nassau. I had thought it would be good to try but will pass on it in the spring when we are there, unless the fish is deemed safe to eat raw.

Good to know.

Good info thanks.

Whats wrong with Captain D's fried fish fillets?????Big Smile

Not a thing LOL

That's where I get my Hush Puppies!!!

Nothing else.

Glad I like my sea food cooked

And on the seafood topic GrandmaJo .. when in Bermuda I hear you must try their local special, fish sandwich on raisin bread. Am told it is outstanding.

OH WOW, when we were there in Feb, we went to the Twin Brothers Restaurant, had the fresh conch and a sample of the conch salad. The opened the conch right up and I had a piece. hmmm I think I will pass next time lol. thanks for posting this! Brian PS I am a Long John Silvers fan myself, but Capt'n d's will do in a pinch!
