My Bet is on Always Dreaming ... Anybody going to the Kentucky Derby?

Wish I were going!  Enjoy that like I do a cruise!

We live about an hour and a half away and I wouldn't go near the place on Derby Day.  I think the locals mostly attend the Oaks.

LOL - lots of locals here avoid Nascar when its here ...probably for the same reasons....

It is fun watching even if it's on TV.  time for another "triple crown"!?

I remember watching every year as a child.  We would all pick a horse.  If I'm anywhere near a TV, I watch it and still pick a horse.  Hint:  Never pick the same horse as me unless you like coming in last.

I did the same thing and when I lived in Ohio, actually made the trek a few times.

I'd love to see the Derby just to,people watch. Who cares about the horses?! The hats and all the snobbery of the event look like it would be fun to lurk at. Mint Julip, anyone?

Jockeys and stable hands are worried about being deported in a Trump immigrant sweep.
