Depends! If you want a more European type experience, MSC is a good choice. Read our expert review here: http://cruiseline.com/cruiseline/msc-cruises

If you like a more fun environment (e.g. hairy chest contest), then Carnival is a good choice: http://cruiseline.com/cruiseline/carnival-cruise-lines

Which sailings are you considering? Who is going with you?

Were looking at MSC Peosia?... Buenos Aries, Argentina to Genoa, Italy march 2016 versus Carnival Legend.. Australia to Hawaii this date hasn't come out yet. I like to cut loose a bit and have a good time but from what I understand is that carnival does not offer the cheers program from Au....

For myself, I would choose MSC.  The ships are elegant, the crew mingles with the passengers and encourages everyone to participate in activities poolside.  The shows are all variety style - no comedians because of all the different languages spoken.  If you want a more party atmosphere Carnival is your cruise line of choice.  Don't agonize over your selection.  You will have a good time on either cruise line.  Enjoy your cruise and don't forget to write a review upon your return.
