Unfortunately you can't. Personally I think if they want to pack all their food up and head directly to their 2nd home and stay there for a couple of weeks they are welcome to. I heard the NY Governor say that the state needs more ventilators but he turned down 16,000 in 2015. Has he come out and said that yet? No instead he blames the WH for it. They have actually presented quite a few facts and are trying to send out a little hope to the American people.

Only thing I'D like to pack is my clothes for another cruise.

Me as well but that might have to wait.

The common sense approach would be to listen to the health folks and just err on the side of caution. Monique cancelled her Alaska cruise with her sisters, and we are reconsidering our Feb 2021 cruise just because with the drop in wages, the savings account won't grow as planned. Also, if this thing comes around again, then we would be better off is we we not stuck somewhere in the Caribbean .

After 136 cruises I had to cancel 3 cruises so far Nervous

Thats a hellacious batting average!! We have had to reschedule a few, no big deal actually as I remember it. This last wouldve been 23, and the first we ever had to cancel outright. It sucks. Even with the FCC.

Carnival has now postponed their announcement from Friday, March 27th to Monday, March 30th. What is up with that?

I suspect they don't know what to do. But the cynic in me says they know EXACTLY what they're doing. Mebbe they can blame somebody else.

With this new extension my April 13th cruise has been cancelled by RCI. I'm good with the decision but I was looking forward to going. I will be glad when this virus has run it's course and is over with. I do plan on and I am looking forward to cruising again. Everyone please be safe.

So here's my question: what would happen if the cruise ship pulled into a port and wasn't able to dock due to the dock not being open? Does the cruise then become a cruise to nowhere?
