Mobile Passport App

I just saw a comment that someone suggested the "Mobile Passport App" ....... I had not heard of it.    Has anyone used it ?  are the lines for it much shorter ?

The website states it works at 1 cruise port and 24 Air ports.   https://mobilepassport.us/

My son uses it but it really doesn't speed things up - kind of like paper boarding pass versus mobile... I have the app but haven't used it ... Guess most advantageous thing is if you were to lose your passport ... at least you'd have the mobile app.

We have the app but haven't had the need to actually use it yet.

We have the app; it was free and easy to use.  Took advantage of it once, don’t remember which airport.  We did walk right past everyone else, but then had to wait a few minutes while they got someone to take care of us.  That line was so rarely used they didn’t actually staff it.  I think we commented at the time that our Global Entry (which had a short line) probably would’ve got us through a little quicker.

This looks like a very interesting app.  Not quite enough for me to get a smart phone in order to use it, but maybe the DH will want to add it, I'll be sure to show this to him.
